I just got done with my simulated season on NHL 2K9. I did it the right way, and by that I mean I put the injured players off the rosters and did some line editing to the best of my knowledge. For example, I put Erik Johnson of the Blues on the free agent list because he is out for the season. Same goes with guys like Ryan Whitney and Sergei Gonchar for the Penguins, I put them on the FAL but put them back on the roster through the season when they were projected to be back. I basically worked out all the kinks as best as possible in that department. All computer generated trades and stuff like that were turned off. The season was also done at the most competitive mode possible.
Here are the results.

A pretty weird outcome, although some of it does look likely, most of it does not. If there is anything else you want to know that I did not post or maybe I forgot, just leave a comment and I’ll let you know.

YEAH!! GO FLAMES GO!
i agree with the previous post…
GO FLAMES GO!
I’m gonna keep the sentiments going…GO FLAMES GO!!!
But I wonder what kind of result you would get if you did the simulation again.
Gomez winning individual cups makes me laugh.
I’m 100% positive the results would be different, but not by that much to be honest. I remember simulating multiple seasons on NHL 2K7 and Joe Thornton won the Art Ross all 3 years, and most of the same teams were in the playoffs. I can’t remember who won the Cup(s), though.
