Here is a shot right before the hit. You can clearly see his skates are still on the ice. Looks fine to me.
Now if you look at this picture below you can easily become fooled and think Kronwall went the dirty route. Kronwall’s momentum and the fact Havlat did not absorb the full blow is what made Kronwall go airborne.
