The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Detroit Red Wings in game 7 and hoisted Lord Stanley’s Cup last night capping off a thrilling finals and 2009 NHL playoffs.
This was the Penguins first Cup victory since 1992.
Sidney Crosby was the youngest Captain to guide a team to a Stanley Cup victory.
